From My Kitchen to Yours: The Story Behind Tee’s Kitchen & Bakery

In 2020, when the world hit pause, something beautiful started to rise in my kitchen—comfort, love, and a whole lot of soul. Like many of us, I turned to what felt familiar in an unfamiliar time: cooking. But what began as making meals and desserts for friends and family quickly became something much more meaningful.

I’ve always had a passion for cooking. It’s how I show love. Whether it’s a warm plate of food on a hard day or a sweet treat to celebrate the little things, food has always been my way of caring for the people I love. During those quiet, uncertain pandemic days, I spent more time in the kitchen than ever—testing, tasting, and delivering meals that made people feel seen and cared for.

Before I knew it, the messages started coming in:

“You should sell this.”

“I need a whole pan of that banana pudding!”

“I’d pay good money for another cheesecake shooter.”

Their words lit a fire in me.

With the encouragement of the people closest to me, I decided to take a leap of faith. That leap became Tee’s Kitchen & Bakery—a Black-owned, California-based business rooted in love, comfort, and flavor. What started from my home kitchen is now a growing brand that celebrates joy through food.

Today, we offer flavorful, convenient meal prepping services and homemade desserts like banana pudding, peach cobbler, no-bake cheesecake shooters, and pies. Every order is made with intention, passion, and the hope that it brightens your day, the way cooking has always brightened mine.

Tee’s Kitchen & Bakery isn’t just about food—it’s about connection. It’s about the magic that happens when someone tastes something and instantly smiles. It’s about the legacy of soulful cooking, passed down and shared with pride. It’s about honoring my roots, sharing my passion, and spreading joy—one plate, one bite, and one heart at a time.

So welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re placing your first order or returning for your favorites, know this: everything from my kitchen to yours comes with love.

With gratitude and sweetness,

Tee
